PROJECT OVERVIEW
When Your Housing and our client, Equans, needed a reliable contractor to step in and correct extensive remediation works at their Kirkby development, PAS NW Ltd answered the call. Taking over from a previous contractor, our team faced the challenge of not only completing essential works but also rebuilding resident trust.
The development consists of 266 residential units across a prestigious 16-acre site at the former sports centre on Whitefield Drive - a location once considered for Everton FC's landmark 50,000-seat stadium.
This diverse residential scheme delivers a thoughtfully designed mix of two-, three-, and four-bedroom properties. Meeting crucial housing needs in the region, 221 homes were offered through affordable rent and shared ownership schemes, while 17 units will be available for private rental, creating a balanced and sustainable community.
The Challenge
Previous contractor had left works unfinished and below standard
Residents were understandably apprehensive due to past experiences
Multiple disruptions had already impacted the community
Complex remediation requirements across multiple areas
It led to an unfinished site and disappointed residents who had already occupied the homes.

It's a testament to our team's ability to not just meet standards, but exceed them, even under challenging circumstances."
