PAS NW LTD, a leading North West civil engineering company, is proud to announce its partnership with Coppull Primary School as part of its commitment to community engagement and social responsibility at its new Miller Homes development site in Coppull.

Recognising the unique presence of a construction site in this village community and the school’s close proximity to ongoing site activities, PAS has launched a series of initiatives to prioritise the safety of pupils and enhance community trust.

As part of this effort, PAS has donated 150 high-visibility vests to Coppull Primary School.

These vests are designed for students to wear whenever they cross between school buildings or use the playing fields that border the construction site.

In addition to this donation, PAS has implemented enhanced safety signage around the site and plans to erect new signs near school zones.

A dedicated community noticeboard has also been installed at the site entrance to keep parents, teachers, and residents informed of site updates and safety protocols.

Gary Hall, Senior Construction Manager at PAS NW LTD, stressed the company’s commitment to supporting the Coppull community throughout the construction process.

He said: “We understand that a groundworks and house building project of this size can be an adjustment for residents, particularly for families and pupils.

“Our priority is to make safety paramount, ensuring everyone—especially children—can go about their day with minimal disruption. We’re grateful for the opportunity to partner with Coppull Primary School and appreciate the support from teachers, parents, and local residents.”

Michael Chambers, Headteacher at Coppull Primary School, expressed his appreciation for PAS proactive measures.

He added: “We’re very pleased with the steps PAS has taken to ensure our pupils’ safety. Having high-visibility vests for all our students brings peace of mind, especially given our unique setup across three sites.

“The additional signage and clear communication have been invaluable as we work together to make sure pupils, teachers, and parents feel safe and informed.”

Deputy Headteacher Lindsey Parkinson added: “The support from PAS, and in particularly Jack Hayne as site manager, has been instrumental in helping us navigate the changes that come with having a construction site so close by. From listening to our concerns to actively implementing solutions, the team has been responsive and committed to working hand-in-hand with our school and the Coppull community.”
