Job Description

JOB TITLE:

Commercial Trainee

LOCATION:

North West (Office - Lowton, Warrington). Occasional travel to sites. 

SALARY:

Competitive, dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Commercial Director, supporting day-to-day activities and learning the key commercial functions of the business.

Assist with contract administration, project costings, and financial reporting.

Monitor project budgets and liaise with teams to ensure projects remain on track.

Help in preparing quotations, tenders, and client proposals, working with data to ensure accuracy.

Visit construction sites to gain practical experience and understand project delivery processes.

Support procurement and supplier negotiations to achieve best value.

What We’re Looking For

We value potential over experience and are looking for individuals with the right attitude and eagerness to learn. Whether you’ve just completed A-levels, graduated in any discipline, or have transferable skills from other fields, we want to hear from you.

Key Attributes:

A keen interest in the construction and civil engineering industry (but no prior experience necessary).

Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take on challenges.
